Here we are in Salt Lake City UT. We've got a couple shows left before we head down to southern California to begin writing our next record. We're taking about 4 weeks off from tour, and hopefully we'll walk out of these sessions with a blueprint for the future of our music. If nothing else we should have a demo or two that I'll be sure to post online. Then we're back on the road until December. We've got a couple new tshirt designs, new stickers and we're looking forward to touring in some nice autumn weather.

We were just featured on the news in Shreveport, LA!! Coincidentally that is where are are headed today to play with BRAZIL and STATUES CRY BLEEDING. We are pysched.

This is where fuel comes from.

After the first two and a half months of our 10 month tour, we've all taken the past 2 weeks off to enjoy the fruits of our labor and individually cause havoc all across North America.

But now, we're back to business.

CONSTANTS is headed out for another month, this time across the south followed 3 weeks up and down the west coast. We've still got our giant bus, we're still playing epic space rock and we've accumulated more tattoos, more tequila, more black clothing - and though we've lost a bit of facial hair, we are very much ready to bring the rock.

Orion was just complaining that I haven't updated our blog in a while, and I guess he's right, so here we go.

Today is Duncan's 23rd birthday and so far we've celebrated by seing Xmen 3, sippin some fine single barrel whiskey and enjoying the air conditioning in the finest mall in Dallas TX.

We're about a week away from wrapping up the first 2 months of our year long tour. A couple of days ago we kidnapped our friend Joel (INFINITE DIVISION/ STATUES CRY BLEEDING), and we've been having a great time.

Here we are in El Paso TX. We're really just getting warmed up playing shows, but it feels great to be back on tour, out on the road, seeing friends and making new ones. We're definately still learning the ins and outs of living in and maintaining the bus, so if we ever decide to stop playing music, I'm pretty sure we could all enjoy decent careers as bus mechanics.

The shows have been going well and we're psyched to finally be enjoying some warm weather. We've been playing some new material as well....I'd say about 10 minutes worth. Plus we've been getting compared to Neurosis more, which I personally think is cool. (I think it's because of Duncan's light show).

The group has installed beds, a full kitchen and living area in the bus and are currently touring across the country in an environmentally sustainable vehicle and spreading the word of its benefits.

We've spent the last week or so busting our asses getting ready to leave for tour; we bought a school bus and have converted it to run on vegetable oil. The process, along with other complications have forced us to cancel the first few dates of this tour. We apoligize that we aren't going to get to see all our friends in the southeast, but we promise that we'll be back around before you even have time to miss us.

On a brighter note, the bus looks great. It runs on veggie oil, has a couch, table, kitchen and beds, so we are seriously going to be touring for eternity. I'll be sure to post some pictures as soon as we're done working 15 hour days trying to finish work on it... We're also psyched to be bringing out Jon Hassell (of SENECA) as our touring guitar player.

WELCOME TO THE CONSTANTS BLOG.
We are currently going through the process of rebuilding our webpage, but we wanted to have some way to communicate with the world while doing so. So this is what we came up with.

We're in the process of buying and modifying a school bus into a bio-diesel. TRANSLATION: for our next 3 month plus national tour we will be zipping around America in a vegetable oil fueled Deathstar. Environmentally friendly, and we no longer have to rely on political administrations and the outcome of wars across the globe to determine how much money we have to spend in order to get from venue to venue. We're really excited.

The good news is we have a school bus. And we are converting it to run on vegetable oil this week. The bad news is...well, actually there isn't any bad news. We're spending this week practicing, partying, getting all our ducks in a row (we have a lot of ducks), and getting ready for our tour kickoff show in Boston with Tarantula AD, The Sword and Short Film next Monday in Boston. Then we're out on the road for more than three months. Check our myspace page for an up to date list.
